When we first received the HP Envy x360 13 (2022), the only minor issues we encountered were the absence of an HDMI port and sensitivity issues with the trackpad. Despite that, this model is a near-perfect laptop overall.
The first thing to note is how affordable this is in comparison to many of its rivals. The cost of the entry-level configuration is approximately £800. The beautiful OLED display and 12th-generation Intel Core i7 make even the most expensive entry-level model affordable.
The HP Envy 13 x260 meets high performance standards because it is Evo-certified. We were pleased with its performance during our tests in tablet and laptop modes, comparing it to other larger 2-in-1s. Even though this is one of the smaller and more portable models we’ve used, this is the case. Considering that OLED screens require a little bit more power, its nine-hour battery life surprised us even more.

We were impressed with the HP Spectre x360 (2022) when we tested it. This laptop’s previous iterations were always strong contenders in HP’s lineup, but this one adds a powerful 12th-generation Intel Core processor and a stunning OLED display for a generally excellent computing experience.
While the majority of laptops have a few issues, this one stands out. And its touchpad is that. We defaulted to using either its admittedly excellent touchscreen or an external mouse whenever possible due to its excessive sensitivity. The fact that this laptop can become pricey, even with the optional OLED display, is not helping matters.
However, the OLED screen’s sharp 3K2K resolution is well worth the investment. The rest of the package, which includes a good keyboard, a good selection of ports, and a stylus that comes with it, is also good. Given that OLED displays typically require a little bit more energy, its eight-hour battery life is also pretty good. Purchase a wireless mouse with it by spending a little extra.

Due to its adaptability, the HP Envy 14-eb0000na still belongs on this list, even though it is only about a year away from becoming obsolete, at least in terms of a computer’s lifespan. It is a sleek device that is light enough to meet the needs of most Ultrabooks while providing sufficient power, thanks to its discrete graphics, to handle creative work and some casual gaming.
In fact, we were pleasantly surprised by its performance when we put it through its paces. It was quick and, more important, didn’t lose its cool under pressure. On this, you won’t be able to play the most recent AAA games, but there is enough performance for most people.
The touch feature is the only thing that could be improved. The 1200p 16:10 touch display, on the other hand, is fantastic all around and great to use. Additionally, it comes at a price that may appear excessive for such an all-arounder. However, it is a high-quality machine that can satisfy the majority of users’ power and portability requirements.
